Mud Lake with JC Birding

 July 28, 2026

The weather forecast the night before, was not all that bad.  But it was wrong.  There was a steady drizzle, which kept everyone at home.  Bill did venture over to see if anyone showed up, but there were none.

He left his camera in the car and looked around a bit seeing an Eastern Phoebe and Great Blue Heron on the lake.  On the ridge side, he spotted a skulking Green Heron, so retrieved his camera and tried for a shot.

He decided to walk down to the river where there were several Wood Ducks.

By then, it was 8:00 am and it was time to quit.  A very short day!
