A House Wren Makes a Nest in our Box
June 18, 2017
Grant spotted the House Wren and heard it singing. We saw it gathering twigs and food for the nest. We also spotted a juvenile American Robin on the back fence.

More Good Sighting at the Cottage
June 11, 2017
I surprised a Bald Eagle in the water, and it flew up with difficulty to dry it's wings. Upon returning from fishing, I spotted a Red-necked Grebe near the mouth of our bay.
Later, we did our first Loon Count. We only saw 3 pairs, but a female was on the nest.
