We had a drop off to make in Orleans, so decided to make a quick check of the near east end hotspots while we were out.
On Wall Road, Barbara spotted a perched Rough-legged Hawk. It took off to hunt, oblivious to our presence.
We continued on to Milton Road to confirm what we expected – the Sandhill Cranes had departed.
