We were out at Embrun anyway, so it was handy to go to St. Albert for some cheese and then proceed to Highway 138 at Lafleche Dump to look for Snow Geese.
There was a small flock on the ground which soon swelled to over 3000 as the rest of the flock came noisily in from the north.
It's always an awesome sight.
