We had an errand downtown, so decided to make a quick stop at Strathcona Park. The water was very low and only a few species of common water birds were around.
So we crossed the Adàwe Bridge to the Tennis Club and immediately started seeing trees full of Yellow-rumped Warblers. We got a few photos and then saw a few Nashville Warblers too. We met Richard Killeen who said he had found a dozen species. We were not that lucky, but did pick up a Tennessee as well. We hurried back to our car as the rain started.
