American Redstart was our 100th species. We also got Eastern Meadowlark, Blackburnian
Warbler and Mourning Warbler. It was
much quieter at the cottage this rainy weekend, but diligent searching revealed
the above along with still-present Eastern Bluebird, Northern
Waterthrush , Chestnut-sided Warbler, and Yellow-rumped
Warbler. Our resident Eastern Phoebes
and Red-eyed Vireos were often heard. At
the feeders, we had Blue Jay, American Goldfinch, Purple Finch, Black-capped
Chickadee, Ruby-throated Hummingbird and Hairy Woodpecker.
