We met at Andrew Haydon Park - Heather, Helena, Josh, Nina Tony & me. I was a bit late so they were ready to leave when I arrived. I jumped into Heather's car with Helena.
Our first stop was a Burnside, then we went to the Richmond Lagoons, where we saw the Cuckoos and the Willow Flycatcher. The drizzle started and it did not let up for the rest of the day.
We moved on to Constance Creek, but there was nothing much there. We were hoping for the Trumpeter Swan which had been seen.
We drove out to Torbolton Ridge Rd to try for the Sedge Wren, but were not successful. We went looking for an Upland Sandpiper, but had no luck there either. We did see an Eastern Meadowlark, several Bobolinks, and a Yellow-bellied Sapsucker.
Back at the cars, I went to check the picnic possibilities at Andrew Haydon, and saw a Great Egret in the corner.
