Mud Lake & Andrew Haydon with JC Birding

April 25, 2018

It was  a very wet day, but a good one for hand-feeding birds.  Besides Chickadees, Nuthatches and Downy Woodpeckers, a Northern Cardinal came to Roy John's hand!

We got our first warblers - Yellow-rumped and Pine, and our first look at the NCC devastating clear cutting.

We moved to Andrew Haydon Park, then on to Dick Bell, where we had seen a Snowy Owl the week before (tip from Bob Cermak).  Surely it would not still be there?  Well it was, along with a buddy!
