An eBird report got us going to Hilda, only 15 minutes away We had seen one at Mud Lake and another in Aylmer in November. There were lots of the usual suspects at Hilda, giving s good photo opportunities. Our target Red-bellied Woodpecker came in three times. The first time it was only for a second or two, but the second time, we got our photos in rather poor light. The third time, Barbara finally got her shots.
