Upland Sandpipers were reported, so we went to check it out. We met Colin & Martha who had not seen them. Clin though the cold wind was keeping them hunkered down. There were plenty of kestrels to occupy our interest, however.
Colin told us that a Mountain Bluebird had been reported, so they left to try for it. We decided to proceed on to Holland Marsh to look at the waterfowl. Of course, when we got home, we found out that they not only got the Mountain Bluebird, but also the Upland Sandpipers!
