There were so many birds it was hard to get our work
done! Highlights were the return of our Northern
Waterthrush and excellent sightings of Magnolia Warbler. Other warblers were Black and White,
Black-throated Green, Chestnut-sided, Northern Parula and Ovenbird. An exciting new bird for the cottage list was
Fox Sparrow. At the feeders we had Pine
Siskin, Rose-breasted Grosbeak and Ruby-throated Hummingbird. Also on our walks, we saw Eastern Phoebe, Pileated
Woodpecker, Veery, Red-eyed Vireo, Red-breasted Nuthatch and Spotted Sandpiper.
