We made an early start in order to get to the park for 7:00 am! There was only one other couple, James and Kim, who we had met on Langis's raven trip earlier in the spring.
We hiked the Silver Queen trail, part of the Rideau Trail, then birded around the park HQ and on the day use road and beach.
We had lunch at the beach, then hiked the road into the group campground as per Mark's recommendation. Following this, we made our way south to the Opinicon Hotel where we had a reservation.
The birding was really excellent, as the following photos attest.
