Constance Creek and Bay

August 18, 2019

Sam's baseball playoff games were forfeited, so what to do?  Go birding!

We headed out to Dunrobin to check out Constance Creek.  We did not see any bitterns, but the Ospreys put on a good show.  There were lots of Wood Ducks too and a Great Blue Heron.

We proceeded to Buckham's Bay and drove to local roads looking for a Red-headed Woodpecker without success.  We decided to check out the beach at Constance Bay where we saw a Spotted Sandpiper and another heron.

On the way home, we drove by Wesley Clover Park and stopped for a hike at P3 where we saw a young Chipping Sparrow and a rabbit.
