While cleaning the deck this morning, Bill became aware of the raucous calls of many American Crows nearby. That could only mean they were mobbing an owl. He grabbed his camera and went next door in the back yard. The crows were obvious, but the owl was hard to see buried in the foliage. Finally he saw it - a Barred Owl. He got Barbara and they both were ale to find a perspective for photos.
After several minutes, the crows tired of their game and left it alone.
