For the first day in many, we had some sun and blue sky. So we decided to head out briefly in the afternoon to try for a belter shot of the Rusty Blackbird. Well, there was no sign of her. All we could get were some Mallards.
Being close to Hilda, we dropped in to see if the Red-belied Woodpecker would show up in this excellent light. Nope! But we got some nice shots of redpolls at least.
