Car Birding with COVID

 January 12 & 14, 2024

Even though we had Covid, we thought it would be ok to go car birding and not meet anybody. On January 12, we went to Conley Road to look for reported bluebirds, but did not find any.  However we did see some Wild Turkeys and feeder birds.

On the way home, we spotted a good sized flock of Snow Bunting on Steeplehill Crescent.

On January 14, we drove to Lockhead Road south of North Gower, since we had seen good birds there last year.  We saw a couple of flocks of Snow Buntings, then discovered an interesting pile of dirt with corn in it.  This was a magnet for Dark-eyed Juncos and American Tree Sparrows.
