Ontario Nature Gathering

June 2-3, 2018

The conference got underway on Friday with a buffet supper and nature quiz.  On Saturday morning, there was a bird walk.  Highlights were Black tens and a Northern Flicker at a nest.

We attended sessions on alvars and turtle recovery.  On the grounds, we even saw a Midland Painted Turtle searching for a nest site.

Later in the day, we did more birding along the waterfront.
