The star of the show was a juvenile Long-billed Dowitcher.
We also saw lots of other shorebirds: Baird's Sandpiper, Least Sandpiper, Lesser Yellowlegs, Sanderling, Semi-palmated Plover, Semi-palmated Sandpiper, and Stilt Sandpiper.
Our friend, Ken, who had earlier been at Connie's lunch with us, showed up to enjoy the show too.
Other waterbirds spotted were Blue-winged Teal, Great Blue Heron, Great Egret, Ring-billed Gulls and Mallards.
When leaving, we spotted a Monarch Butterfly.
