Warbler Bonaza at Mud Lake

September 8, 2019

It's often quiet at this time of year, but on this day we struck gold.  American Redstart, Black-throated Green, Chestnut-sided, Magnolia, Northern Parula, Pine, Blackpoll, Yellow and Yellow Rumped.

We also saw a couple of Bald Eagles, several Cedar Waxwings, an Eastern Phoebe, an Eastern Wood Pewee, Hairy Woodpeckers, Leopard Frogs, an Osprey, a Philadelphia Vireo, some White-breasted Nuthatches and plenty of Wood Ducks.

A super day!
