We were surprised to see that the loon at Seagull Rocks had already had her chick!
We went across to Gladu to check on the eagles just in time to see the parents switch sifts at the nest. While dad stood guard, mom was feeding her baby. She appeared to be feeding another one at the other side of the nest, which was not visible.
Maria showed us a video of a baby racoon up on Tims Road, so we could not resist seeing for ourselves. Hope it can make it.
Barbara got some safflower seeds to try in the backyard feeder. The Purple Finches liked it.
