Jane cancelled our planned rendezvous at Venosta because there was a 90% chance of rain forecast. But, after the rain at our cottage the night before, we thought there would be more showers coming during the day Although there were some clouds, it did not rain. We left the cottage about 3pm to come home and we decided to stop for a short hike at Venosta. It did start to rain about 5:30 but luckily we got back to our Rogue without getting too wet.
Birds were scarce, but we see a small flock of Orange-crowned Warblers, and 8 Northern Cardinals.
