We got an RBA that another Red Phalarope was on the Ottawa River, but this time very close to shore below the Champlain Bridge. We headed right out and arrived to see several well-known birders on site - always a good sign.
Sure enough, It was right by the shore, partially obscured by branches. We got a few ok shots, then the Red Phalarope flew off, but was relocated at a rocky point downstream. We hurried over and got these great shots.
