We decided to team up with Jane to try to find a Great Horned Owl that Ken discovered reported on eBird on Richland Drive in Richmond by Peter Blancher. It was a bitterly cold day, and we had no luck with the GHOW, but we did speak to some neighbours who confirmed that it was around (Peter was not at home, but he sure does have a good feeder station)
After we left Richland and headed to Dobson Lane, Ken showed up. That was a surprise. But no GHOW there either. So we decided to head to Rushmore & Akins to look for Snowies. Well, none of those either. But at least we found a few Snow Buntings.
