We decided to bike from Blue Sea to Lac Castor and back. On the way, we found a really good raspberry patch, and picked as much as we could.
Near the halte, we got a few birds, including a Yellow-rumped Warbler.
We had almost enough berries to make jam, so we picked some more on our own road, and stopped at Messines to buy sugar. Then we returned to the cottage and made a batch of jam. Whew!
Then it was time to head home to pick up Boots, so we left early the next day. On a whim, we drove down Chemin Grant in Kazabazua. It was surprisingly long and we got some berries and birds.
