We were back at Mud Lake searching for the Red-bellied Woodpecker. We met Mark G, Colin G. and Sue & Gary who were all on the same mission. Only Mark stuck it out and he eventually spotted it. We should have gone with him. Instead, we wandered the trails hoping for a sighting. We ran into Wilson H who showed us perching site for a Screech Owl. But the owl was either not home or far back in the hole.
So we continued hiking the trails and were rewarded with a Hermit Thrush and White-throated Sparrow.
The we met Wilson again, and he led us to another site right on Cassels Road. This time the owl was home!
