We cruised Concessions 19, 20 & 21 looking for Snowy Owls and Hawks. On 21, we soon spotted a Rough-legged Hawk in the distance.
We drove to the end at Ste Catherine, and spotted another roughie near the 417.
We started back on Concession 20, and somehow Barbara spotted a Short-eared Owl on top of one of the hundreds of solar panels. It was barely visible, but Bill found he got a better look by standing on his stool!
We carried on and cruised Concession 19, ten back east on County Road 3. In St. Rose, we saw a large flock of House Sparrows and Mourning Doves.
We spotted a large raptor in the distance and got the scope on it - Bald Eagle. We were able to drive part way down Renaud to get a better look; and we saw 3 eagles, 2 juveniles.
The owner of the nearby farm, came by to check us out.
