We had to go to Aylmer to pick up Barbara's car, which she had loaned to her niece. So, not wanting to waste an opportunity, we headed for the foot of Vanier Road and the Deschenes Rapids. There was quite a bit of open water, and the ducks and geese were taking advantage.
Finished shooting the ducks, we headed back to the car, when whoa!! Barbara spotted a perched Merlin right by the path. And it stayed put!
