Greater White-fronted Goose

 March 14, 2021

We got an RBA that a GWFG was in the Jock River at the bridge at Eagleson Road, so off we went.

The wind was gusting to 60 km/h, which made viewing difficult and very uncomfortable.  We did spot it among the Canadas, snoozing.

Every time we lifted the camera, it was blown to the side, making it tough to get a decent photo.  Here is our best effort.

We were chilled to the bone, but happy to have seen it.
