Harvey's for Birding

 March 16, 2021

Sami got such lovely photos of Pine Grosbeaks in the crab apples at Harvey's, so we decided to give it a try.  Lynne recommended 11 am, so we were there by 10:45.  Hmm.  No grosbeaks.  Barbara decided to cross the street to check out the tall spruce trees, and she was rewarded! A raven pair with nest material and a singing House Finch in the open.

Meanwhile, Bill, back at Harvey's, only got starlings.

Later, Barbara saw a first-of-spring Red-winged Blackbird in our neighbourhood.
