We were at the lake when all the good sightings of Razorbills were reported, but we decided to give it a shot this afternoon. We went to Scrivens where we had a good vantage point for both up and down the river. No luck. We decided to head to Britannia Point, but just as we were passing the filtration plant, Bill spotted a Cooper's Hawk perched beside the road.
After it flew, we continued to the point where we met Lorraine. She had ben there for 1.5 hours without luck on the Razorbill. However, she told us that she had seen photographers going for a screech owl up Cassels Road. Barbara got the best shot of it with open eyes. And another good shot of a Wood Duck across the road.
