We biked over to Bruce Pit in the morning to test our bikes and hoping to see some warblers. Barbara got a Palm Warbler but it left before Bill could even see it.
We hung around hoping for other warblers, but had to settle for a Ruby-crowned Kinglet.
Heading back, we saw a cowbird and a Chipping Sparrow.
We had some things to give to the boys, so we arranged to meet Kirk at the NAC (he was working there for one day) and hand them over. This saved us from running the police gauntlet at the bridge to go to their house.
Hiking back to our car at Lisgar, we noticed several birds enjoying the puddles at Cartier Square.
