It was raining on Saturday when we went to see our new roof. Birds were elusive, except for a few Yellow-bellied Sapsuckers. We got a few warblers, but always high up and moving fast. Sunday was a much better day and our highlight was a lifer Gray-cheeked Thrush. We did see our resident Northern Waterthrush, but it did not sit for a photo.
