We were invited for Thanksgiving dinner at a neighbour's cottage, so we headed up to the lake the day after we returned from Saskatoon. While there we closed our cottage for the season. The first job was to put fuel stabilizer in the gas tank for the small boat, and take the boat for a short spin to distribute the fuel. While boating, loons were observed molting to their winter plumage amid the blazing fall colours.
We then took out our dock for the winter and performed various other tasks.
