We received an RBA from Jamie Spence that an Olive-sided Flycatcher and other migrants were at the parking lot of Remic Rapids. So off we went.
When we arrived, Jamie was still there and came to tell us that the flycatcher had apparently lefty but that warblers were in the low bushes. At first, we only saw Song Sparrows and Chickadees, but then a flycatcher in a tree. But it wasn't the Olive-sided, but a Least Flycatcher.
We persevered and eventually started seeing the warblers, Bay-breasted, Black-throated Green, Palm, Pine and Tennessee. We also saw an Osprey readying to pounce on a fish.
