Home for a few days, we could not resist another trip to Mud Lake. At first it seemed slow, but it soon picked up. Once again, Cape Mays won the numbers game, but we got several Nashvilles and some new ones for the year - Blackburnian and Blackpoll. Even Yellows and Yellow-rumps were on hand. Some of these fall warblers are indeed very confusing, and we used Merlin App to assist with IDs.

We also got some goodies like Least Flycatcher, Great Crested Flycatcher and Gray Catbird.
Once again, there were lots of Cedar Waxwings and other common species.
Barbara got an all-green Scarlet Tanager.
Another great morning.
