The White-crowned Sparrow was the only report of interest, so we went to Mud Lake before 7 am to avoid the crowds.
We hiked to the back hoping for a Pine Warbler, but it was not to be. Barbara spotted a raven surrounded by small flies and a pair of Mallards right beside the trail.
On the return trip we saw juncos and nuthatches and Bernie Ladouceur!
We decided to hike the ridge, and saw some more common species.
