This was our second try for Vesper Sparrows at this location recommended by Colin Gaskell. This time we were successful.
We also saw a couple of Savannah Sparrows, Song Sparrows and a Great Blue Heron.
Before going home, we stopped at Frank Ryan Park for a reported Carolina Wren. This time we did not see it, but enjoyed the hike and wildflowers (trout lily and Dutchman's breeches)
