We started our day by checking the feeders and the starlings establishing a nest in the tree next door.
Then we went for a walk to our neighbourhood park where we found House Finches for our bingo card, as well as other common birds.
We looked at our Cramer neighbour's house for Carolina Wren but did not see them. John came out and talked to us for quite a while. He said that the wrens are singing now and that we should look at the ravine.
After supper, we hiked over to the Bruce Pit to try for American Woodcock. Around 8:15 pm, we heard several, and Grant got the light on some, so we could get photos. Most were blurry. but we got a few good ones.
